The Parenting Eating and Activity For Child Health (PEACH) program is a parent-focused program for families of primary school aged children who are above the health weight range for their age. The program was developed by Flinders University where its effectiveness in changing healthy lifestyle behaviours and improving BMI z-scores was demonstrated through a Randomised Controlled Trial. In 2013, the Queensland State Health Department funded the Queensland University of Technology to deliver PEACH through the State. This represented the State’s largest ever trial of a childhood obesity management program. This presentation describes the translation of this RCT to wide scale implementation and the experience various service delivery models.
