Mandy Deeks
Dr Mandy Deeks, BEd, ATCL, Grad Dip Psych, PhD, MAPS, GAICD
Mandy is a counselling psychologist with an extensive background in translation, education, research and clinical care in women’s health. Mandy’s research and publications cover health related behaviors, behavior change, risk perception, women and heart disease, anxiety, body image, sexual health, menopause, premature menopause and polycystic ovary syndrome.
She is a strategic thinker and planner experienced in ethical frameworks and effective communication with community, government and academic stakeholders. Mandy is Head of Translation, Education and Communication at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health, Deputy Chair of both The Royal Women’s Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee and Melbourne IVF Human Research Ethics Committee.
She is a recent graduate of The Australian Institute of Company Directors and a past Director of Family Planning Victoria.
